Duo Nabbed For Prostitution After Raid At Suffolk County Massage Parlor

Two women were charged with prostitution after police raided a Long Island massage parlor following multiple community complaints.

The Tuesday, Nov. 12, operation at Welian International Inc., located in East Northport, at 360 Larkfield Road, involved officers from the Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section, the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal, and the Building Department.

Suffolk County Police said Teresa Zhang, age 51, of New York City, and New Jersey resident Alexandra Thalia Higinio, age 31, of Jersey City, were both charged with:

Unauthorized practice of a profession
Prostitution

Zhang also faces an additional charge of criminal nuisance, second degree

Zhang and Higinio received desk appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

Town of Huntington officials issued multiple violations to the business as part of the investigation.
